Midgar Coffee FAQs

You can find our latest opening hours on our Google listing or on the contact us page. We’re open seven days a week and look forward to welcoming you.


We operate on a walk-in basis, so there’s no need to book. Just pop in and we’ll find you a spot.


Our house coffee: Ethiopian Mocha Djimmah. A light roast and reserved for a very unusual coffee. The Mocha Djimmah is really fruity, with bold citrus tones overlaid with delicate floral notes. A great all-day coffee for those that like something a bit different.


Yes. We offer a range of non-dairy options, including soya, almond, coconut, and oat milk, all supplied by Glebe Farm


We love to welcome guests to work at Midgar, we do ask you follow our simple rules to make it enjoyable for all guests.

Yes, all of our teas are organic and ethically sourced.


Yes, we have a selection of vegan pastries and snacks available.


Yes, we offer seasonal drinks such as pumpkin spice latte in the winter and peppermint mocha during the festive season.


Yes, we have a lovely courtyard which catches the sun for much of the day — a great spot to enjoy your coffee when the weather allows.


Yes, we’re dog friendly. Well-behaved dogs are always welcome — and if you’re lucky you might meet Otto, our miniature dachshund.


We offer a selection of very-low-gluten (VLG) options. Our bakery handles gluten and, while we take great care to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free environment. For this reason, these items are labelled very-low gluten.


Bagels and toasties can be made using gluten-free bread, but as gluten is present in our kitchen, we are unable to offer a 100% gluten-free guarantee.


Yes, all of our drinks and food are available to take away if you're on the go.


Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi for guests and there are plenty of plug sockets if you need to work for a while.


Weekends and late mornings tend to be our busiest times. If you're looking for a quieter visit, early mornings and mid-afternoons are usually more relaxed.


They're not customers, they're guests. You've chosen to come into our home, and we're going to make sure you feel welcome
